The Ocean Course has been a cornerstone amenity of the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club for more than 90 years. Originally designed by famed British architect and professional golfer Herbert Strong, the Inn & Club’s signature course has undergone three major renovations: first in 1947, again in 1998 and this historic renovation completed by golf course architect Bobby Weed along with MacCurrach Golf Construction. Five times in its history, the Ocean Course has proudly served as the site for the U.S. Open qualifying round.
