Jordan has more than 15 years of experience coordinating incident response and managing cyber policy planning. At FTI Consulting, she advises clients on a broad range of cybersecurity and data privacy matters involving breaches, insider threats, intellectual property, crisis communications, vendor management, compliance, regulation, risk management, and forensic investigations.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Jordan served as the Director for Cyber Incident Response on the National Security Council at the White House. During her tenure there, she was responsible for both national incident response coordination, as well as management of the U.S. Government’s process for managing zero-day exploits. She was also a chief author of the National Cyber Strategy, the first of its kind in the United States in 15 years.
Brian co-leads FTI Consulting’s Activism, Aerospace & Defense (“A&D”) and the Technology industry practices and is the founder and former leader of FTI Consulting’s Private Equity practice. He has more than 40 years of board and C-level experience that include serving as director, CEO or chief restructuring officer (“CRO”) of more than 35 public and private companies, including serving as the CEO of four telecom companies, two software companies and a defense contractor.
Previously Dr. Kushner served as audit committee chair of Thryv, Inc. (NASDAQ: THRY); audit committee member of Zodiac Systems (sold in June 2020); and audit committee chair of Mudrick Capital Acquisition Corp, a special purpose acquisition company formed in February 2018, which de-SPACed with Hycroft Mining in May 2020 (NASDAQ: HYMC); remuneration committee chair and audit committee member of Luxfer Holdings PLC (NYSE: LXFR; audit committee chair of the re-organized EveryWare Global (now The Oneida Group, formerly NASDAQ:EVRY); and as lead director of Damovo, PLC (sold to Oakley, PLC).
In her role as Executive Director of the Diligent Institute, the think tank and global governance research arm of Diligent Corporation, Dottie provides thought leadership on governance, cybersecurity and technology topics through presentations to boards and executives dozens of times each year at events around the globe. She is co-author of the book, “Governance in the Digital Age: A Guide for the Modern Corporate Board Director,” and she co-hosts the fortnightly show, The Corporate Director Podcast. Dottie brings over 20 years’ experience in governance-related roles, including serving as a director, officer, committee chair, senior executive, governance consultant and trainer for private, public and nonprofit boards.
Melanie is research editor for Corporate Board Member magazine and the director of research for parent company, Chief Executive Group. She oversees custom and proprietary research projects across the firm’s communities of C-Suite and board members and produces actionable intelligence to provide benchmarking and best practices insights on how leadership teams and their boards can navigate current challenges and plan for the future.
