CISOs Speak: Creating a Cyber-Aware Organization

As disruption has become the norm, board and C-Suite conversations have turned from guarding against cyber-attacks to becoming more resilient in the face of them. From building a robust incident response plan to creating a cyber-aware culture and training your employees, veteran security executives will share tips to help your board futureproof your cybersecurity approach.

Discussion topics will include:

What are the most important questions boards should be asking the CISO today?

Why should the board be asking security questions of every business leader—not just the cyber security leader?

What do CISOs wish boards better understood?

What do CISOs wish boards wouldn’t do?

SEC Cybersecurity Guidance clearly states that business continuity is a priority, so boards should be prepared to disclose how they are approaching this area of risk management. How does the board monitor the company’s policies and procedures and confirm their effectiveness without getting too deep into the weeds?

How do boards avoid a false sense of confidence?
